Steve Barratt has been in Real Estate Development and Construction for over 35 years and has previously developed over 200 TD Canada Trust locations.
The Barratt Group, specializes in office and retail leaseholds, from base building through to completion as well as major and minor renovations to existing tenant space.
Our client list includes: CTL Group, MLSE, ergoCentric, Colliers International, Hansen’s Transport, Sterling Karamar, Cushman Wakefield, CBRE, Otis Properties Limited, Allied Reit.
Our construction team is comprised of established trades from demolition to millwork, hvac, painting and everything in between. We are fully insured and carry WSIB , as do all our trades.

Our Design Process
1. Initial Consultation - Meet with the client to understand their vision, goals, budget, and timeline for the project.
2. Conceptual Design - Develop preliminary design options that meet the client's objectives and consult with them to finalize one.
3. Detailed Design - Create detailed designs that incorporate all necessary elements, such as materials, measurements, and budgets.
4. Permitting - Verify that all required permits have been approved before proceeding with construction.
5. Construction Management - Oversee the construction process, which includes hiring subcontractors, managing the schedule, and ensuring quality control.
6. Final Inspection - Conduct a final inspection of the project to confirm that everything has been completed according to the plans and to the client's satisfaction.
7. Closeout - Deliver all necessary documentation and final drawings to the client, and have them sign off that the project is complete.
